Finally my RPi 2 has arrived!
(new charger on the left: Now I can now push 1.2 Amp to the Pi 2’s 4 USB 2.0 ports so I can connect power-hungry devices. This is way I bought a 2 Amp Micro USB power supply instead of the usual 1.8A 5V USB B power source that the Model B+ makes use of and the Pi 2 supports
Dongle: a new one, but the specs are the same
MicroSD Card: 8Gb Noobs
(installing Raspbian's new OS version)
Comparison between the RPi B+ and the RPi 2:
Bottom-line: RPi 2 is faster and better, but not pricier...
Pi B+ = Broadcom BCM2835 ARMv6
Pi 2 = Broadcom BCM2836 ARMv7
Pi B+ = 700 Mhz
Pi 2 = 900 Mhz
Pi B+ = BCM2835
Pi 2 = BCM2836 chip (can push out Broadcom’s VideoCore IV technology at 250MHz, and has a 1080p30 MPEG-2 and VC-1 decoder, and a 1080p30 h.264/MPEG-4 AVC high-profile decoder and encoder)
Pi B+ = 512 Mb (SDRAM at 400MHz)
Pi 2 = 1 Gb ((SDRAM at 450MHz)
